challenge

Starting as a 100% developer-made product, the company has grown to a certain size and now wants to improve its user interface and brand identity to compete in the cryptocurrency market.

solution

Although Incognito is a cryptocurrency trading app with excellent privacy, tracking, and theft prevention features, its current interface is boring, inconsistent, and cluttered. Given the project size, corporate vision, and current budget, I chose to refresh the interface and some minor features based on research and learning from major industry competitors such as Binance, Huobi, and Gate. These apps are cryptocurrency apps that have been used by a majority of users in this field and have been rated by users as good and user-friendly products. The purpose of researching and learning from these apps is to save the company's budget and time, as well as to minimize the risks of product modification and change to ensure that users do not feel unfamiliar and have difficulty using the new design, as well as to increase user activity and trading on Incognito.

branding

Building on the existing logo, the client wanted a more modern font. I redesigned the Incognito wordmark to achieve this. I chose black as the primary brand color, and pallet of black shades as a secondary color to complement it. The illustrations were also redesigned in a variety of styles and colors to ensure they would be appropriate for different contexts and uses, while still maintaining the brand identity.
